THE RUDIMENT STORY
CRUDE BEGINNINGS. Tim Martinez is the Founder of Rudiment Entertainment based in Fort Worth, Texas. He has spent the past 20 (+) years building a career as an independent producer of oil, natural gas, and hydrogen energy. He started his career as an independent Landman working in the Barnett Shale in the early 2000’s. Tim played a key role in accumulating mineral leasehold in excess of 20,000 acres for Four Sevens Oil Company, properties that eventually sold for in excess of $1 billion dollars.
Tim embarked on a new journey in 2007 when he along with his wife Lisa (now deceased) Executive Produced their first independent feature film in Hollywood titled Vicious Circle (Vicious Circle 2009 – IMDB). After production wrapped, Vicious Circle went on to garner many awards, including the Best Picture Award at the 2007 New York International Latino Film Festival sponsored by HBO and the Audience Award at the 2008 Orlando International Film Festival.
Tim was educated in Music Business and Video Production from the Art Institute of Dallas.
